Where’s in at? The COVID Edition

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Where’s it at.

This time I’ve decided to use some of the lists of words supplied by “Taking Stock“.

Making: A headband out of leftover wool to replace the one that is currently in limbo-land.  Aka I don’t know where it is. Most likely in a pocket of one of my jackets or jumpers.

Recreating:  I wasn’t happy with the neckline of a cotton jumper I recently crocheted.  So I’m undoing it and now knitting it into a jumper.  It’s going to take longer to make, but I think it will be a much better fit.

The pattern I’m following is one I found for free on Ravelry,

Cooking: Sweet Potato Hash for lunch.  It’s been a while since I’ve made this.

Drinking: Fitness Tea by Something’s Brewing.  It’s so refreshing.  I will have to order more soon.

Reading: J.A Huss The Company Series.  Book 1: Come.  I just started this one last night.  I added it to my reading list 4 years ago.  Needless to say, I’m so going to enjoy this.

Wanting: The Polar Grit X.  It’s my birthday soon.  I wonder if the husband will take note.

Looking: At getting a long-sleeved woollen dress.  Still undecided though.  I really need to cull down my wardrobe, and find a theme, and stick with it. Besides is it really me?

Playing: Toon Blast, it’s my guilty pleasure while eating lunch.

Wasting: Time on TikTok.

Sewing: Visible mending holes in items I love.

Wishing: We had a dishwasher.

Enjoying: Rewatching Charmed (the Orignal) with my daughter.

Wondering: What I should make next.  Too many choices

Wearing: My big warm woollen jumper I made last year.

Recommend: Watching the HBO mini-series Chernobyl.

We just finished watching this, and wow.  What a complete and utter disaster this event caused.  It’s just horrendous.  Renewable power is the only way.

While it’s just awful that it did happen.  We can and have to learn from it so it NEVER happens again.

We we never truly know the devastation that this event caused, and the long term effects it has created.

This Or That?

Time to switch things ups and have fun with some this or that.

Cookies or cake?  Cake

Pancakes or waffles?  Pancakes.  I still like a waffle every now and then, but since I don’t have a waffle maker, I can only get store-bought, and nothing beats homemade.

Text message or call? I’m a text message person.  If I want to talk to you, it will be in real life.

Hamburgers or hot dogs? Hamburgers.  If I’m going to have a hot dog, it’s going to be a bratwurst with sour kraut.

Flowers or trees?  Trees.  Some tree’s do flower too.

Google or Bing? Google.  Who the hell uses Bing?

Burgers or tacos? Taco’s hands down

Pandas or whales?  Whales.  But why would you compare a land animal with a sea animal?

Books or magazines? Books,

Mountains or beach?  Mountains. Don’t get me wrong I love visiting the beach.  But sand, need I say more.

Also, this is my backyard, what’s not to love.
