Ok So my High Five Friday posts have gone from weekly, to fortnightly, and most recently monthly.
There are been a few reasons for this, but I wont bore you with them, instead just know that they will now be on the 3rd Friday of every month.
.2. Miles running with Naomi in the Sub Junior race last weekend. He came equal 2nd.
.3. Kayla running her heart out in the 1km Sub Junior race. She came outright 4, but won based on handicap.
.4. This year’s Run the Gap shirt. It’s a happy bright blue.
.5. Geocaching with the kids. Had to pretend I was taking a photo as non Geocaching folk were also around.
The UTA was recently held here in the Blue Mountains (just outside of Sydney).
While the winners came in a jaw dropping time of 9:20, Nikki talks about the middle of the pack runners, and what we can learn from them when training or running 50/100km race.
.2. 8 Camping Hacks
Ok so I came across this one while it was still school holidays, and while it’s not school holidays anymore, it’s still worthy of a share, especially with the Queens Birthday long weekend coming up next month.
These hacks are for families.
I must say, I’ve been using the ‘themed’ boxes for a few years now, and let me tell you, so much better.
I use a bib belt, or my ultraspire belt, as it has bib clips. But I know for a lot of people they don’t have that option, or don’t like that option.
Pinzaway well they easy, fuss free bib holders. Enough said.
First it was heart rate, and calories. Now it’s needing to know your running cadence.
But why is your running cadence so important? Well it all comes down to speed & stride. Click the link to find out more.
I’m a person that does say sorry, but these are simple things you can do to take something into a negative and make it a positive.
What do you give a high five to this week?
