I tend to run a lot of the same tracks. I mean don’t we all?
But I never really took notice at how I was progressing on these track until recently.
Facebook has this feature where you can see what you did on this day xx years ago.
While looking through it I came across this post from 5th April 2012.
It was this post that made me realise how far I have actually come with my running.
I decided to run this same track again just so I could compare them.
That’s nearly 20 minutes!
This isn’t even the fastest I have run on this track.
I’ve come a long way in just 4 years of running consistently.
I’m definitely not the same person.
I’m stronger, faster, I can run further.
I’m a trail runner.
But most importantly I run because I love to do it, and one day I wont be able to do it any more.
Today is not that day.
