High Five Friday #19

What are the chances that the 19th High Five Friday just happens to fall on the 19th… Freaky!

I know I haven’t posted much this week, I’ve been living life and haven’t had much to say. And I’d rather quality post over quantity.

Five Pictures

.1. Tom and I were walking among the clouds, while trekking through the Grampians.  It was a sorry type of day weather wise, it made actually looking for the track a lot more interesting.

.2. Miles drew a toy car for me. Strangely looks like a platypus.

.3. Another day of trekking, much better weather conditions, but the last few km were goat track.  No seriously GOAT TRACK.

.4. Kayla was asking how to spell lasagne the other day.  I didn’t question it.  Then I discovered this love note from her on the fridge.  Bless her.

.5. Was listening to “Ladies of the 80’s” on the RockMyRun app.  It was a slow short run for Run June. Love how RMR gives you your steps per minute.  Mine not quite at 180, but not bad considering it was a short slow run.

Five Links

.1. Running – This article “it takes 7 minutes” came up in my newsfeeds on facebook.  It was something that I could instantly relate to, and so I had to share it with you.  So when in doubt allow 7 minutes.  You’ll have your answer by the time the 7 minutes has past.

.2. Yoga – Christine a Yogi and fellow runner shared this blog post “Recovery Yoga for Runners“.  I do most of these stretches after a run and always feel better afterwards.

.3. Food – This has to be one of the most easiest recipes out there, and Miles loves it. Roast Cabbage Slices.  Butter or Lard is our favourite.

.4. Inspiration – I’m a parent so of course I want to set a good example for my kids, but what I love about this article from Lifehack “Fearless Mindset” is that we can apply the same principals in our own life.

.5. RunMum – Which brings me to a past link that relates to the above Lifehack article “Why it’s ok to Fail“.

What do you give a high five to this week?
