The Christmas Edition
It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these. You can read the last one from back in July here.
I figured since it’s December and to be in the Spirit of Christmas lets do another one would you rather.
Run a Christmas themed event in the heat or the snow?
I have never had a white Christmas. Well you’d expect that because here in Australia, Christmas = Summer time.
But I would love to experience a white Christmas, so this one is an easy one for me, snow.
Sing / listen to Christmas songs during your run, or wear a Christmas outfit during your run?
Christmas outfit, cause it’s fun. I’m so over Christmas songs, that’s all they seem to play at work.
A new running watch, or an entry fee to a running event?
Since I already have a watch, I’m going to say an entry fee to a running event. Providing I get to choose the event.
Go for a run before your Christmas meal or after?
We have always had a late Christmas lunch, around 2-3pm, so this is a given, morning run, cause I’ll be sleepy by the arvo, and will need a nap.
Listen to an Audiobook / Podcast on running, or read a book about running?
I’m really into reading at the moment, so I’m going to say read a book about running.
One awesome present or ten ok presents?
I’d be fine with one awesome present.
A year access to an online running coach or 5 one on one visits to a running coach?
I would love both. I would love one on one access to a running coach to improve my running form, and then check in with them online via skype/phone/email through the year.
Give up your Christmas to help those in need (like a soup kitchen), or spend your Christmas with ALL your family?
I’m lucky that I have a small family (huge overseas however), and I have access to see them at any time. While family is important, I can see my family at any time, and can celebrate the joy of being a family at any time of the year, not just Christmas. So I would rather help those in need on Christmas day, and help bring joy to their lives.
Watch Love Actually or The Holiday?
I’ve never watched The Holiday from beginning to end. I’ve seen bits and pieces of it. I must watch it in full one day. So therefore I’m going to say Love Actually.
Ham or Chicken / Turkey for Christmas meal?
To be honest I’m not fussed. I’ve never actually had the same thing every year for Christmas. I like the variety.
In our family we have had, ham, roast lamb or chicken, a bbq, you name it we’ve had it.
It’s not about the food, it’s about the company.
So which would you rather? Pick some all pick them all.
